About
Providing free, Christ-centered Kindergarten education to families in Pandi, Bulacan.
Our Story
A Dream Rooted in Christian Compassion
Caring Jesus Educational Foundation (CJEF) began as a dream of the Pineda family, who wished to share God's blessings with children and families in their community. Founded in 2008, CJEF offers free Kindergarten education rooted in Christian values to underprivileged children in Pandi, Bulacan.
2008
Edgardo Pineda and his wife, Ma. Lourdes, formally incorporated Caring Jesus Educational Foundation (CJEF), its name drawn from the founders' own parents, Caring and Jesus.
Early Years
In its early years, CJEF partnered closely with the Gawad Kalinga / St. Nazarene community in Brgy. Pinagkuartelan, Pandi, Bulacan. This formative collaboration shaped who we are today, while CJEF now operates independently.
2013
CJEF received a Government Recognition for Pre-Elementary Program.
2014
Christ the King (CTK), the high school support center of Caring Jesus, was established to provide financial assistance for CJEF alumni—starting with the first batch of Grade 6 graduates, all the way to college.
2016
CJEF received a Government Recognition for Elementary, growing into a full Kindergarten-to-Grade 6 program with a parent-run feeding program that provided daily meals for its pupils.
2023 – Present
CJEF transitioned into a partnership with Holy Angels’ College (HAC), a nearby, well-regarded private school. HAC now accommodates pupils from Grades 1–10, while Kindergarten students remain at the CJEF premises. The foundation also continues to provide financial support to its college students.
